Off the Board is a niche job board for Ontario construction trades whose hiring rarely reaches the big job boards — elevator mechanics, Primavera P6 construction schedulers, estimators, bricklayers and heritage masons, and glaziers. It gathers the public postings for those trades in one place, with pay shown wherever the employer publishes it.
Because these trades mostly hire off the public boards: through union halls, referrals and staffing agencies. The postings that do surface are scattered across employer sites, agency boards and Job Bank — Off the Board collects them in one place so they are actually findable.
The board launches with five trades — Elevator Mechanic, Construction Scheduler (P6), Construction Estimator, Bricklayer / Heritage Mason, and Glazier — with 37 verified Ontario postings at launch. More licensed and specialist trades will be added as their postings are verified.
